Dr. Ludsteck graduated in physics from LMU University in Munich. Subsequently, he completed his postgraduate PhD in experimental physics at the Max-Planck-Institute of Quantum Optics in Garching with a thesis on ion trap quantum computing. Subsequently he received a scholarship from the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) so that he could refine his Chinese language skills at the renowned National Taiwan University (NTU) in Taipei for a full year. Having returned from Asia, Dr. Ludsteck continued postdoctoral studies with the team of physics Noble laureate Prof. Hänsch at the Max-Planck-Institute of Quantum Optics.

Since 2006 Dr. Ludsteck has been working in the field of intellectual property.

Following his qualification as a German and European Patent Attorney which took place in internationally operating patent and law firms in Munich and Berlin, he founded LUDSTECK Intellectual Property Law Firm.

The main focus of his work is patent prosecution. Here Dr. Ludsteck is experienced in drafting patent applications according to either European, US or German Patent law and replying to office actions from the European, German, US, Chinese and Japanese patent offices. In addition, Dr. Ludsteck has gained plenty of experience in litigation, e.g. through patent opposition proceedings, patent nullity proceedings and infringement law suits.

A unique expertise of Dr. Ludsteck is the field of intellectual property in China. Due to his fluent command of the Chinese language, he can advise clients who are active in the Chinese market comprehensively and competently. Among other things, Dr. Ludsteck also offers a service called "China Branding", which is the art of "transferring" Western trademarks or company names into the Chinese language.

Dr. Ludsteck speaks Chinese, German, English, Japanese, French, Italian, Spanish and Russian.

Dipl.-Ing. (TUM) Dominik Rauch

Following an apprenticeship as an industrial electrician at the BMW Group, Mr. Rauch completed a degree in electrical engineering at the Technical University of Munich, which he completed with a master's thesis at AUDI AG. He then qualified as a German patent attorney. His fields of technical expertise include high voltage technology, electric drive technology, high frequency technology, telecommunications and systems engineering.

Mr. Rauch speaks German and English.

Mr. Waller was a founding partner of the law firm Geirhos & Waller in 2007. In 2017, Mr. Waller founded the patent and law firm Waller-IP.
